Problems with foaming in hot potassium alkali solutions

In the thermal potassium-alkali decarburization system, foaming is very severe. Apart from strengthening filtration, maintaining stable system parameters, and using defoamers, are there any other good methods to prevent the liquid from foaming?
The water-to-carbon ratio at the front end needs to be well controlled; excessive heat in the decarburization system is also one of the reasons for solution foaming.
Are there any other control and adjustment methods besides the water-to-carbon ratio, such as liquid level, regeneration pressure, and solution quality management?
