I recently worked on a natural gas separator, and due to certain constraints I opted for gravity separation. However, the diameter of the separator that resulted was too large, which makes it unsuitable for use in skids. I would like to ask experts: how can one improve the efficiency of gravity separators while using a smaller diameter?
1 A horizontal layout can be selected. 2 Add separation elements such as tangential feeding, install mist capture nets, and use umbrella plates, etc.
