How to get started with control?

For work reasons, I need to work with electrical control systems; I know nothing about them and would like to learn, but I don’t know where to start. It mainly involves PLCs and electrical control cabinets used to operate pumps and valves. I would appreciate some guidance from those who know more, as well as recommendations for good books. Thank you!
Good books? The best way to learn is to follow the master on-site and learn humbly. Pour tea for the master, offer him cigarettes, try to get close to him when there’s nothing to do, and invite him out for dinner after work in the evening. Have a little drink. This is the best book.

The OP’s question can’t be clearly explained in just one sentence.
After studying for several years, do you really think someone will spend just a few hours explaining it to you? That’s highly unlikely!
I recommend a book on factory power supply; once you’ve finished that, you can read on electrical automation and programmable controllers
Using a PLC in combination with some configuration software can solve the control problems you mentioned! For example, some cards such as AI, DI, DO, etc.; if there are any errors, I hope experts can offer guidance
What the poster needs is an introduction to automation. I think factory power supply is the best option; he doesn’t need to do any design work – it’s sufficient for him to be able to understand it
