Should methanol be detected as a toxic gas or a flammable gas?; The \"Design Code for Detection of Flammable and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Enterprises\" states that if a substance is both a flammable gas and a toxic gas, only toxic gas detectors should be installed ; But in its appendix, methanol is classified as a flammable gas. I’m very puzzled by this; I hope everyone can discuss it?
