There is a high-temperature alarm on the coal weighing feeder

Today, while debugging the coal weighing feeder, I noticed a temperature sensor on top of the discharge opening – it’s a remote-controlled type. I’m not sure what its purpose is!

Reply to 1# wang959682: I didn’t notice that there is also a high-temperature alarm on the coal weighing machine; is it used to detect whether the coal is self-igniting? If it catches fire on its own, the coal must be at a high temperature; this is just a personal guess!
That’s not useful in our current manufacturing process; it’s used in boilers, where it operates under pressure during coal feeding and is directly connected to the furnace. When the coal supply is interrupted, it prevents the hot air from the furnace from reaching the weighing feeder and damaging the belts there. For the current process, it’s completely unnecessary. It’s just an extra part in the complete set of equipment.
