You’re not allowed to bring anything at the beginner level; a booklet will be given to you during the exam, containing everything you need. Some knowledge might be included in that booklet even if you don’t know it. Professional reference materials are allowed, but they cannot be in printed form (i.e., not something you’ve summarized on your own). If you put a cover on them, claiming it’s a photocopyed book, it might be acceptable to bring them. You generally don’t need to look up the data; if it’s necessary, it will be indicated in the question
