After the supply of fresh hydrogen is stopped during the hydrogenation presulfidization process, the hydrogen sulfide content in the recycled hydrogen increases. The inlet pressure of the recycled hydrogen compressor drops, and the temperature in the exhaust cylinder rises; excessive temperatures can reduce the lifespan of the sealing gaskets in the compressor’s inlet and outlet cylinders, or even cause the gaskets to carbonize and lose their sealing function. When the supply of fresh hydrogen is interrupted, lower the temperature of the catalyst bed to the previous level and maintain internal circulation.
