No one has answered this question for me yet. Now I have a rough idea, so I’ll answer it myself: 1. The designed flow rate of the pumps on board is to remove all the oil within 24 hours; usually, it takes 30 hours to complete the unloading, which is considered a long time. 2. The contractually specified time for loading oil is generally 24+4 or 32+12 hours, and these figures refer to larger ships; any additional time required will be added later
It depends on the contract signed by the tenant when booking the ship, regarding how negotiations are carried out with the shipowner
