This is my first time working on coating process design, and it involves chromatographic analysis as well as GPC chromatography. What is the difference between them? Could a familiar friend please explain it?
Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) was first successfully developed in 1964 by J.C. Moore. It can be used not only for the separation and identification of small molecules, but also for analyzing polymer homologs with identical chemical properties but different molecular sizes. (Polymers are separated on the separation column based on their molecular hydrodynamic volume.)
