What is the typical structure of carbonization towers used in small-scale ammonia synthesis plants, and what are the types of internal components found in these towers? Is it a sieve plate tower? Bubble column? Packed tower? Or something else? Please give me some advice. Or where can I find information on this topic? I looked for books on inorganic process engineering and ammonia synthesis, but they all focus on process calculations and barely cover equipment.
There is a gas distributor at the bottom, and the middle reaction zone is a cooling water tank; this is basically the standard design. There are tray-type recovery towers; I’ve never seen carbonization towers.
