Help: What are the strong acidic ion exchange resins?

The intermediates produced by our company require a chemical transposition step that is carried out under sulfuric acid conditions: the mixture is cooled to 0–5°C, sulfuric acid is added for neutralization, the acid concentration is adjusted to 17%, hydroquinone is added, the internal temperature is maintained at 60–63°C, and the transposition reaction proceeds for 1.5 hours. >, a large amount of acidic wastewater is generated after transposition, and this wastewater is difficult to treat. I’ve read in some literature that abroad, this step is carried out using strongly acidic ion exchange resins; such resins can be reused after backwashing. It is a functional polymer material made by introducing sulfonic acid groups onto the benzene rings of polystyrene resin.
