These areas are usually equipped with isolation facilities to separate them from the surrounding environment, and they must meet strict requirements regarding fire prevention, explosion prevention, lightning protection, and static electricity control. (3) It must be carried out by professionally trained technical personnel. (4) There are strict requirements regarding the time and speed of loading and unloading. Transporting oil products ⑴ Deliver them from the loading site to the unloading site on time and safely as required. ⑵ Its load weight must not exceed the load waterline. ⑶ During loading and unloading, pollution and spills must be avoided. ⑷ Personnel working on oil tankers must hold an oil tanker operation certificate issued by the port authority. ⑸ Explosion-proof tools must be used correctly when installing and removing oil pipes. ⑹ The oil transfer hose connecting the ship to the shore should have sufficient length. Oil filling ⑴ When connecting the oil pipeline between the ship and the shore, it is necessary to install the grounding wire first, and then connect the oil pipeline. ⑵When installing the grounding wire, the end on land is first connected to the oil pipe and led underground. A switch is installed in the middle of the grounding wire; the switch is turned off first, then the end of the grounding wire on the ship is connected to the ship’s hull, and finally the switch is connected. ⑶Open the inlet pipeline valve leading to the oil tank and the valve of the stern oil storage tank, and close the outlet pipeline valve and the valves of the other oil tanks. ⑷The oil feeding should start slowly; check that the oil pipes, fittings, gate valves, etc. are free of defects, and ensure that the oil is flowing properly into the designated tank without any leakage. Only then can shore personnel be informed to gradually increase the oil feeding speed. After the normal speed is reached, further inspections should be conducted. Slow down before finishing filling with oil to avoid spills. ⑸During the entire oil filling process, someone must remain at the inspection hole, and the duty personnel should regularly monitor the oil filling speed. ⑹Half an hour before terminating the loading process, the shore side should be notified to get ready; the shore side should be informed to slow down as progress is made, so that pumping can be stopped in time once the last tank is filled. ⑺The oil loading speed is fast, and the ship’s draft changes significantly; the crew on duty must pay attention to adjusting the tension of the cables at all times. ⑻After the entire ship has been filled with fuel, remove the hoses first, and then the static ground wire. ⑼Close the large valves of each compartment and seal all gate valves on the pipelines with lead seals. ⑽Assist the relevant personnel in sealing each cabin hatch, opening, and pipeline gate valve with lead seals. Unloading of oil ⑴ Upon arriving at the unloading location, contact the consignee promptly to inform them of the type and quantity of oil. ⑵Tie down the bow line, stern line, and shunt lines. ⑶The ships are connected to each other with copper wires, which are then connected to the earth’s static ground wire. ⑷The oil transfer hose connection must have no fewer than 4 fastening bolts; oil-resistant sealing rings should be placed between the flanges, and an oil collection tray should be installed below. ⑸Assist the relevant personnel in checking the lead seals. ⑹Start the oil unloading slowly; once it has been confirmed that the oil pipes, connections, and gate valves are free of defects, gradually increase the unloading speed. After reaching the normal speed, inspections should be conducted again. ⑺During the oil unloading process, attention should be paid to adjusting the tension of the cables. ⑻Before the unloading is complete, wait for the valves on shore to be closed before closing the valves on the ship. ⑼Remove the hose first, then the static ground wire.
