As the title suggests, is it okay for me to choose an electromagnetic option for naphtha?
The original poster is being funny, right? Naphtha is a light petroleum product that does not conduct electricity at all, so electromagnetic flowmeters cannot be used. If it is a trade handover, it is best to use a mass flow meter. For ordinary process metering, vortex flowmeters, orifice plates, or rotameters can all be used.
The E+H mass flow meter we use is very useful.
OP, naphtha cannot be measured using an electromagnetic flowmeter (its conductivity is too low). A volumetric flow meter (such as a rotameter or gear flow meter) or a mass flow meter should be used.
Use vortex flow meters; they are more cost-effective and practical

It’s actually better to choose a wedge flow meter – it offers a good cost-performance ratio and is reliable. If high measurement accuracy is required, then opt for a mass flow meter
