I received a call today from what seems to be the \"Vocational Qualification Certification Training Center of the Chinese Academy of Management Science\", offering exam preparation courses. I’m not sure what’s the difference between this certificate and professional title certificates, nor whether it has any practical value for individuals. I hope those who know can help me out
I also answered this call; after reading the description, I refused and didn’t go. It seems like it’s just a way to pay money in exchange for a certificate, which might be useful for obtaining professional titles. Or it could be considered for reimbursement by one’s employer, since it’s free anyway. It’s pointless for those who really want to learn something or use such a certificate to find a job. They claimed that by paying money, one can get a certificate as a registered electrical engineer in just three days – it’s too easy; I simply can’t believe it.
