In essence, the production of thiourea involves the connection between different processing units. The degree of automation depends on the type of operation you want to achieve; if a DCS operating system is used, then at least all equipment aspects other than material feeding can be controlled via computer. I have been working in thiourea production for three or four years now, and my workshop has always wanted to install a DCS operating system, but the company will not approve it! The issue of maximum production capacity is mainly determined by the amount of hydrogen sulfide available; currently, the largest thiourea production facility in China has a capacity of only 10,000 tons. If my workshop is expanded again this year, it could become the largest thiourea production facility in the country, with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons
What is the maximum capacity? Well, it depends on the amount of H2S impurities present. Theoretically, this thing can handle any amount, right? At worst, just several sets of devices can be connected in parallel.
