What type of pump is a dry pump? How should it be maintained

I work in the semiconductor industry. The dry pumps we use now exhibit eccentricity in the rotation of the main shaft within the pump chamber; I’m wondering if there are any ways to reduce wear. Also, are there any companies in China that specialize in the maintenance of dry pumps? Thank you!
Dry pumps belong to vacuum pumps and are a type of positive displacement pump; they use changes in volume to transport gas. There is no contact between the rotor of a dry pump and other components, with a certain gap in place, so wear is generally not significant. I’m not sure if you’re referring to dry screw pumps. With such pumps, poor adjustment of the clearances, or low-quality bearings and gears can also cause the two screws to stick together.
