Are there any foreign movies that made you cry?

I suddenly realized that it’s the domestic movies that truly move me to tears. Foreign movies are just entertaining, or nothing more than that. I’ve been thinking about learning English lately; if anyone has any good movies that can really touch your heart, please recommend them.
The love between a human and a ghost lingers on; I find that quite touching
Foreign movies are good; that’s our rational understanding； What moves us to tears is a form of sensibility ； After all, they are from two different cultural backgrounds; it’s something that comes with one’s birth. Only our own movies can make us cry.
Passionate Years, Forrest Gump, and so many others – why are it only the domestic films that touch people’s hearts? Anything that reflects what’s in people’s hearts can move them

I agree with the original poster; maybe I just can’t appreciate foreign art. I prefer things that are lively, and when it comes to movies, I like those with a deeper spiritual dimension – I prefer domestic movies
Brave Heart, The Pianist, Ascension, The Shawshank Redemption – they are all good movies
Everyone’s emotions are different, so there are movies that leave you unimpressed while others might bring tears to their eyes
In fact, many foreign movies are quite good; The Shawshank Redemption is a classic example. Moreover, when a foreign movie is accompanied by poor Chinese dubbing along with English subtitles, it’s likely you’ll cry your eyes out as well :)
