I need to figure out how much steam is required for the evaporation tank. Being a beginner, I’d like to discuss this with other experts here so that I can have a clearer idea. Here are my thoughts for now: I need to determine the mass of the material being processed by the evaporation tank, its specific heat capacity, temperature rise, and enthalpy value. However, I don’t know how to calculate or find these enthalpy values. I hope everyone here can offer some guidance

For accessing relevant physical property data, it is recommended to refer to (1) the Chemical and Chemical Engineering Property Data Handbook; (2) Chemical Process Design Manual. Among them, the former has a more diverse range of material types for its relevant data.

Mainly check the physical property tables; clarify the assumptions used in the calculations based on energy conservation, and fellow sailors can also provide you with some detailed suggestions
Does anyone know the relationship between the area of a falling film evaporator and the diameters of the steam inlet and outlet pipes?
