This post was last edited by fangqiong on 2010-11-11 at 12:46. Does anyone know which domestic manufacturers are involved in the treatment of oily wastewater? For example, horizontal flow oil separators (API), inclined plate oil separators (CPI, PPI), etc.
I’m not sure if you’re referring to a simple, portable type or one that is built as a structure. For such oil separation tanks, design firms can usually carry out the design in accordance with relevant standards; it doesn’t require much technical expertise. That’s just my personal opinion, haha. Maybe some companies do possess advanced core technologies
This post was last edited by zfc318 on 2010-11-11 at 17:41. Oil separation is the initial treatment technique for oily wastewater; for the vast majority of such wastewaters, flocculation and air flotation are still required to remove oil.
Reply to 3# wanghuifeng: Our Shanghai Xingpu Company acts as an agent for equipment from the UK; this equipment is called a thermal oxidizer and can be used to treat oily wastewater. The issue here depends on the relative amounts of oil and water. Generally, an oil-water separator can be used to separate oil from water. Here, the separator makes use of a physical process based on the difference in specific gravity between oil and water. Oil will tend to float on top of water and can be extracted. The collected oil can be used as fuel for the thermal oxidizer.
