In low-temperature methanol washing, there are three filters: one for lean methanol, one for rich methanol, and one for methanol/water. I’m a beginner, so I’d like to ask what the function of these devices is and what they filter out ? Thank you all
What is filtered out are the catalyst powder brought into the system via the gas stream (and coal ash in the case of methanol production), rust and other impurities remaining from inadequate purging of the system, as well as corrosion products of the system such as NiS and FeS.
