Selection of desiccants and regeneration methods

To dry a stream of syngas with a water content of less than 20 ppm after drying, is it sufficient to use silica gel desiccant, without the need for molecular sieve desiccant? Regarding the regeneration method, I’ve read online that it’s possible to use nitrogen for regeneration or one’s own process gas. What factors should be taken into consideration when deciding which regeneration method to use? . Note $ # , $ $
Regenerating the process gas is the most reasonable method; if the amount of process gas is insufficient, or if the process gas contains a high level of olefins, then N2 or similar gases must be used as the regeneration gas.
