When switching a 220V motor, the voltage measured is over 300V, which always causes the relay to burn out. I would appreciate it if everyone could suggest a solution.
Use a solid-state relay; without mechanical contacts, it won’t get damaged!

Is there a mistake in the wiring? One live wire and one neutral wire should be used, rather than two live wires! But such a basic mistake shouldn’t be made, right!

The total burnout relay may be due to the small contact capacity of the relay’s moving and stationary contacts; if the installation space is limited, it is advisable to use imported relays. If the installation area is large enough, a contactor can be used, with its three contacts connected together by wires. For example, if your motor current is 5A, you can choose an AC contactor such as NC1-09, with a coil voltage of AC220V. The original relay can be used to drive the contactor.
