What determines the setting of the inlet guide vanes in a centrifugal compressor? Generally, domestic compressors do not have inlet vanes, while imported compressors usually have them! What are the benefits of installing inlet guide vanes? Similar to the case of centrifugal pumps, should inlet guide vanes be installed as well?
