Discussion on NB/T47011-2010 Zirconium Pressure Vessels

This post was last edited by ccljm on 2010-11-14 at 12:52. NB/T47011-2010, the standard for zirconium pressure vessels, came into effect on December 15th this year. Has everyone purchased them yet?
Was it approved? I don’t think so; I haven’t heard that it passed the review. This standard was established long ago, but it failed to pass the assessment. Besides, the industry is still in its infancy in China, with a lack of data and information; everything is copied from abroad, which is pointless. There are no domestic zirconium plates at all; even if such plates did exist, domestic manufacturers would not use them and would instead purchase them from the foreign company Huachang.
It seems that several of them are to be implemented on December 15th; NB/T47008, the standard for forgings, is the one that is used most frequently……
I wonder if anyone has purchased the standards for forgings?
