The 200,000-ton coal-to-methanol project of Inner Mongolia Yigao has produced qualified methanol

http://www.ccescc.com:8011/html/2010-11/1047.html On November 9, 2010, the 200,000 tons per year methanol production project at Inner Mongolia Yigao (formerly 3D) Coal Chemicals, constructed by the Yigao Methanol Project Department of the Inner Mongolia branch, successfully produced qualified methanol. Thanks to the diligent efforts of all the staff involved in the EGAO project team, the boiler was successfully ignited for the first time in December 2009. In May of this year, the circulating water system was successfully tested in its entirety; in June, the 4-in-1 air separation unit was also successfully tested. At the end of October, the 20,000 cubic meter methanol storage tank was pressurized successfully, making it ready for use. The synthesis compression unit was successfully tested in November, and on November 9th, qualified methanol was produced.
