After changing the cold coke water system from an open to a closed design, the liquid level in the hot water tank for cold coke water has been rising every day; each time a large purge occurs, water is introduced which causes the level to continue to increase. How do other sailors deal with this issue?
Excess cold coke water can be used to supplement the cutting coke water; if there is an excess in the entire system, sending it outside the system can be considered； It is also recommended that the water recovered during high-pressure steam blowing be sent out directly; otherwise, it may lead to a high oil content in the cold coking water.
Can the water from the hot water tank be diverted to the cold water pipe? Don’t you remove oil from it, nor do you carry out regular coking removal?
