I have a 12-mm-thick stainless steel container with a design pressure of 1 MPa. A pipeline needs to be connected to it, and I’m not sure what wall thickness the fitting should have. I would like to use seamless stainless steel pipes for the fitting, with a diameter of 25 mm. Please help everyone

It is also necessary to know the inner diameter of the container, the corrosion allowance, the inward and outward extension heights of the fittings, as well as the design temperature of the equipment
Are there any relevant references or standards? DN1100, no corrosion allowance considered; the nozzles shall not extend inward, with an outward extension height of 100, at normal temperature

Actually, this is something you determine on your own, and then you use SW6 to do the calculations. As long as the requirements for reinforcement through the openings are met, economic considerations also need to be taken into account; the thickness shouldn’t be too great
Based on the parameters you provided, a wall thickness of 10 for the container is sufficient; I’m not sure why the original poster wanted to use a wall thickness of 12. It is sufficient to use 6 walls; standard 1” seamless steel pipe, grade SCH160. You can calculate A1, A2, A3, A4, and A5 by yourself to verify it; that should be sufficient.
A wall thickness of 5 mm for the container is sufficient. How are 12 and 10 calculated? What is the static pressure of the liquid column?

Calculate the relevant parameters in accordance with GB150-1998 and the regulations for chemical engineering design. Also, what the medium is and its corrosivity must be taken into full consideration.
