I would like to ask whether the material used for metal wound gaskets is steel strip or steel plate, and how are they processed into finished products? ? ? ? ? ? ?
The **standards for metal wound gaskets are established by our company. These gaskets use steel strips rather than sheets; wider steel strips can be cut to create narrower V-shaped strips. Several layers of steel strips are wrapped first, followed by a layer of graphite strip, then another layer of steel strip, and yet another layer of graphite strip… until the desired size is achieved. How is the wrapping tape connected and secured between the inner and outer rings? Spot welding?
