Problem of deadlock in Rotork electric actuators: On-site maintenance has revealed that Rotork electric actuators sometimes enter a deadlock state; the valve position switch signals are occasionally incorrect, the display screen only shows the valve position status, no English messages appear in the small window, and it is not possible to operate them remotely from the site. The current solution is to turn off the 380V power supply; what are the specific reasons for this, and what is the permanent solution? Thank you!
I think the main board is damaged. When only the valve position is displayed, does the background light or indicator light turn on? Could you take a photo of the screen of the faulty actuator to take a look?

The problem has been identified; it’s an issue with the manufacturer’s software version – it will be fixed after an upgrade
