I would like to ask the more experienced colleagues: what are the various tasks involved in the HVAC field within chemical engineering design firms, and which areas hold promise for career development? I just started working at a chemical engineering design firm, but I’m not sure about the nature of the work or my career prospects In particular, what are the tasks involved in the HVAC field? What software and design knowledge is necessary to master? (What is taught in school relates to architecture.) I hope those with more experience can share their insights!
Then go ahead and work on chemical pipeline design; it’s probably quite similar to your previous architectural work as well.

The main task of the HVAC specialty in design institutes is the design related to heating and ventilation in residential buildings. Architectural design institutes: handle smaller-scale projects, usually focusing on civil construction, with an emphasis on heating systems; Large-scale projects; covers both industrial and residential applications, including residential heating and air conditioning for commercial buildings ; Factory ventilation: Medical design institutes prefer clean air conditioning systems; chemical design institutes: Not very familiar with this topic, don’t know the main aspects involved

Our major used to be part of the Department of Storage and Transportation, but later it became an independent department called the Department of Gas Engineering.
