As the title suggests, whether it is necessary to determine the ash fusion point of the coal used in gas generators, and the reasons why such determination is needed. (I personally feel that it’s not necessary to conduct such measurements; mainly because coal prices are high at the current time, leaving little room for choice when it comes to coal – it’s good enough to have any coal available.) ； Furthermore, the measured ash fusion point is merely an experimental value; in practical use, what matters is whether it facilitates operation and helps to control the quality of gas ； Furthermore, adding equipment for measuring the fusion point requires certain investment. ) Please give me some suggestions. Finally, I would like to ask if any of you work at a company that tests ash fusion point; is your workplace a research institution or an ordinary factory? Thank you! ! :)
We are a manufacturing enterprise; the ash fusion point is determined by taking samples from one batch of coal and testing it once

However, this measurement is a requirement for process quality management and has been carried out over the years
