What is the purpose of the water tank below the wet gas holder?
Thanks to the water seal effect, the gas holder can rise and fall freely.
As the name implies, a water tank is used to hold water. A gas holder is composed of a water tank, a middle section, and a bell jar; gas enters from the bottom of the water tank, causing the bell jar to rise. When it reaches its highest point, a hook plate catches the middle section, allowing it to rise as well.
