A dedicated thread for the “Weekly Star” recommendation is available in this forum; moderators and technical discussants are asked to keep an eye out for suitable candidates who meet the criteria for the “Weekly Star” award, and to post a recommendation for one candidate here (by no later than 7:30 on Mondays). Based on everyone’s opinions and after finalizing the chosen candidates, the list will be posted on Mondays morning.
I recommend “Drifting with the Wind”. It was not only initiated in <Issues Related to Welding Repairs During the Inspection of Pressure Pipelines> http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-759638-1-1.html, but it also saw active participation in in-depth discussions, with additional topics proposed – which is worth promoting.
This post was last edited by ms3210 on 2010-11-21 09:51. Post activity in the project area last week: klsunft and shi*ao*ao posted the most and their posts were of high quality. To encourage more marine enthusiasts to participate in exchanges in this community and post actively, shi*ao*ao is highly recommended (with 14 posts). This post was last edited by ms3210 on 2010-11-26 at 19:09. The number of posts posted last week was fairly stable, but there weren’t many high-quality posts; once again, it was the same old faces (maybe I just didn’t notice). To encourage more SeaFriends to participate, two more individuals are planned to be selected this week: Zhi Zhe Ming (13 posts) and shi*ao*ao (31 posts). The wise are enlightened. This post was last edited by Wise Ming on 2010-11-28 at 23:47 to share some personal thoughts for reference. Restarting the “Star of the Week” recommendations is an important measure to activate this section, and it indeed works. “Recommendation for “Star of the Week”: It is suggested to take into account the selections from middle and upper grades, and consciously give preference to new faces and younger members. It’s not necessary to focus solely on those who post the most; as long as a post is insightful, even one that sparks intense discussion, it can be recommended as the “Star of the Week”. This not only motivates more Sea users to participate in the forum, but also helps to identify potential moderators and technical discussants through guidance and training.
I was away on business last week and could not participate in the management of the project area; thank you all, moderators, for your hard work. Since the “Star of the Week” selection was not held last week, two SeaUser members are planned to be recommended for selection this week. I personally recommend Haiyou Jiutian Lanyue and china0454. Jiutian Lan Yue is a very good member of the community; they actively post in the project area and their posts are of decent quality, so they deserve encouragement (3 posts last week) ; Also, last week china0454 posted 6 topic posts on construction supervision, whose content is quite useful for reference. Last week, due to my absence from managing this area, I asked other moderators to continue with the recommendations.
I agree with the candidate recommended by the MS3210 moderator! No suitable candidates were found for the others.
This week, I still recommend Haiyou Jiutian Lanyue personally. Jiutian Lan Yue was active in posting (21 posts) within the project area last week, eager to help others, and their posts were of decent quality; they are worth recommending. http://bbs.hcbbs.com/redirect.php?goto=findpost&pid=4580198&ptid=776384&modthreadkey=1fb593f4ebac710d2bded64989c38f03 http://bbs.hcbbs.com/redirect.php?goto=findpost&pid=4568927&ptid=775527&modthreadkey=68dcb3a8d4b8e3b7aa28757448519219 http://bbs.hcbbs.com/redirect.php?goto=findpost&pid=4567998&ptid=775527&modthreadkey=68dcb3a8d4b8e3b7aa28757448519219 http://bbs.hcbbs.com/redirect.php?goto=findpost&pid=4562665&ptid=775177&modthreadkey=e0a7d018bfa13bed59d39f22bfd0fc8c ..........
