By the way, it is the process of producing electrolytic zinc using copper-cadmium slag as raw material! I hope everyone can give some guidance!
Copper-cadmium slag generally contains 2–5% copper, 8–15% cadmium, and about 40% zinc. For producing electrolytic zinc, the ammonia method should be given priority, as it offers low costs, a simple process, and high-quality, stable product output
Using copper-cadmium slag in the ammonia process for producing zinc electroplating is also not feasible; there are already very few harmful impurities in such slag, so there is no need for this approach. I think ammonia leaching could also be considered for zinc oxide ore. . .
We need to check what the levels of Co and Fe are in your copper-cadmium slag... Different levels require different treatment methods.
