Recently, the hydrogen sulfide level after desulfurization in our desulfurization unit has been fluctuating frequently, sometimes exceeding the allowed limits. Ammonia aqueous solution is used for liquid-phase catalysis, with a titration of 14–18 tt; the catalysts used are MSQ and T90-2. The regeneration process proceeds well, with plenty of sulfur foam being produced, and the regeneration temperature is maintained at around 36°C ; Analysis of complex salt components in g/l: thiosulfate AN 140, sulfuric acid AN 55. I think it might be because the temperature has been relatively low, around 15°C; the water temperature in the cooling tower ahead of the desulfurization tower is at most 20°C, while the temperature of the gas entering the desulfurization tower is around 22°C. Could this have an impact? Everyone, please help me out with some advice.
The low temperature of semi-water gas affects desulfurization regeneration (as the regeneration temperature is low), but it has no impact on desulfurization absorption. It seems from your analysis that the amount of by-products in the desulfurization solution is a bit high. Also, what is the liquid level control for your lean liquid tank? Does a low liquid level sometimes cause the desulfurization pump to experience vacuum? Or is there a problem with the pump? Let the system check it.
The temperature of the desulfurization liquid can be raised to 39-40
What was said on the second floor is correct; the regeneration temperature is a bit low – it should be above 40 degrees for optimal results.
