Is there any way to prevent overflow during LNG loading?
Just install a level switch on the tank truck.
It is recommended to use a quantitative loading system, as required by the regulations as well; this can effectively prevent overloading of tank trucks

Is it liquefied (cryogenic) natural gas or compressed natural gas? Both of these LNG loading methods should be done in a closed system (gas-liquid two-phase); what does overflow even mean? The answers given by the two fellow travelers upstairs are applicable to substances that are in a liquid state at normal temperature and pressure; it’s not clear whether they apply to LNG as well.
Reply to 4#: It is difficult to measure LNG in the transfer arm due to the presence of a gas return pipe, and quantitative control presents issues. There is a level gauge on the tank truck, but no signal output.
LNG tankers are equipped with level gauges, and like tankers for liquid ammonia and liquefied gas, they have a certain filling coefficient. During loading, the driver watches from nearby, as he is the one who knows best how much has been loaded. There’s no need to worry about this.
Each tank truck is equipped with a tank truck usage permit, and an IC card specifying the allowable filling weight. Filling begins by swiping the card at the batch controller until the specified amount is reached; once that is achieved, the controller automatically closes the valve. That’s it
