Dear seniors, is it okay to use carbon steel for the material? If it is carbon steel, is coating necessary? What coating is better? Is there anything else to keep in mind?
Personally, I think the key lies in the requirements of your manufacturing process. If your process is sensitive to iron ions, it is not recommended to use carbon steel; 304 stainless steel would be a good choice. From a purely corrosion perspective, both carbon steel and stainless steel are suitable
