The coke produced recently has a layer of white substance on its surface after drying in the coke yard, resembling frost. It shows no reaction when heated with fire and dissolves in water. Tasteless. I don’t know what it is? Does anyone know what it is? ?
It is caused by excessive addition of alkali during the treatment of phenol-cyanide wastewater, or by excessive addition of alkali during ammonia evaporation
