Recently, the market for water-soluble fertilizers has seen the emergence of many brands of such fertilizers, with prices varying widely. Most retail prices are around 60 yuan per kilogram. There are numerous manufacturers producing these products, which raises several questions: First, what are the differences in the formulations of the various brands of water-soluble fertilizers? Secondly, what is the cost of high-concentration water-soluble fertilizers that contain only essential elements? What is the selling price?

Macronutrient water-soluble fertilizers are a new type of fertilizer with a clear definition established by the Ministry of Agriculture; the current implementation standard is NY1107-2010. Due to the different technologies used and the varying raw materials, costs vary greatly, and as a result, prices also differ; it is not possible to make generalizations. On the market, prices range from several thousand to hundreds of thousands of yuan per ton. Each has its own characteristics, and it’s hard to say how much it’s worth. It depends on how well the market accepts it. Amino acid water-soluble fertilizers do not fall under the category of macronutrient water-soluble fertilizers as defined by the Ministry of Agriculture; rather, they are referred to as “amino acid-containing water-soluble fertilizers,” and there is a separate standard for them. If you see that a fertilizer package is labeled as a macro-element water-soluble fertilizer, but the standard it follows is not NY1107-2010, then you should be cautious.
