What I mean is to find out how many copper smelting companies use Carro furnace to smelt scrap copper ? How many of those companies that deal in precious metals use Carro furnace methods to smelt gold and silver? ?

Jiangxi Copper uses Carido furnaces for smelting miscellaneous copper, while Shandong Xiangguang’s precious metals division and Tongling Nonferrous Metals use Carido furnaces as well.
Jinchuan Group was the first company in China to introduce the Carro furnace in 1976 for melting secondary concentrate, thereby eliminating the need for converters; it is likely the company with the most experience in using this type of furnace in the country. I used to work for Jinchuan Company.

The companies that have introduced the Caldo process for treating anode slime are Tongling and Xiangguang. Jinchuan uses self-developed Carro furnace technology to process anode slime. The places that produce mixed copper are Jinchuan and Guixi; Jinchuan’s technology was developed independently, while that of Guixi was introduced from elsewhere.
In Jinchuan, copper anode slime doesn’t go directly into the Carro furnace either; there is pressure leaching before that, right?
The process of treating anode slime in a Caldo furnace involves pressure leaching first; after copper removal, the material is fed into the Caldo furnace.
