It was the first time I watched Lindan’s match in its entirety, and I felt that he is a very energetic athlete; he was also very friendly toward the audience, saluting them at the end of the match and throwing his fighting boots, clearly very excited himself. Watching the Asian Games has made me want to exercise again, to play table tennis; unfortunately, I can’t find a place to play, so I have to practice against the wall.
We also watched that final last night; it was fantastic. There were three sets played, and in the end Super Dan won. It lasted nearly an hour – what a great match! Congratulations to Lindan, and sympathy for the Malaysian athlete who won the silver medal.
