What is your iron level? How high is it? By how much has the slot voltage increased?
Reply to 2# flay0303: Current is 11,000; the value for a single cell is 3.40. Iron ions in the primary brine are at 1,000 PPb, and in the secondary tower it’s around five to six hundred
When the iron ion concentration is high, these ions can settle on the membrane surface, thereby causing an increase in membrane voltage. It’s very difficult to come down. The problem lies in the brine purification process, which failed to produce qualified brine. Tell us about the process used for refining your brine!
Our factory has encountered exactly the same situation as the original poster. I would like to ask the moderator for a solution; the single-saltwater process is based on KAI membrane filtration technology.
Increase the amount of sodium hydroxide in the brine to reduce the iron level. Your situation is also related to the poor performance of the resin tower
Do you add ferric chloride?
Thank you for the reply from above. Ferric chloride is no longer added, but the iron level in the saltwater remains high, at over 1,000 PPB. Isn’t a resin tower used to remove calcium and magnesium?

Is the rubber lining damaged? It is recommended to take samples from several different points for comparison
