How should coal samples be collected for gasification projects?

The company is planning to launch a large-scale coal chemical project, and it is necessary to take samples of the raw coal produced by various coal mines in the surrounding area in order to test relevant parameters as part of the preliminary design data. How should samples be taken? It must be raw coal; it cannot be mixed with coal from other seams, and it may need to be obtained underground.
My little piece of advice is to take the coal from the dump trucks; usually, coal is transported out of the mine in batches, and 2-3 bags can be taken from each batch. After collecting coal from about 40-50 such batches, that should be sufficient. Then, note down the coal seam, the name of the coal mine, the date, and the person who made the record, and put all this information in a bag – and that’s it.
