When the temperature rises to 120°C, water begins to be injected into each stage of the electrodesalination unit; the amount of water injected is 5–8% of the amount of crude oil processed per stage. In units equipped with a water reinjection system, once the level in the electrodesalination tank where water needs to be reinjected reaches the set value, the reinjection pump is activated to supply water to the next higher stage, while fresh water injection for that stage is stopped. 6. When the temperature reaches the designed value, adjust the crude oil processing volume as needed, make comprehensive adjustments to the operations, take samples to analyze the water and salt content in the crude oil after treatment, and adjust the operational parameters based on the analysis results.
