Let me first talk about my situation at my workplace: 1. Basic salary – this generally varies little among people, and it is related to education level, years of experience, and professional title. This portion accounts for 32 percent: the quarterly bonus, which is given by the project manager to the team leaders, who then distribute it among the project members. This part makes up roughly 50 percent in total. Thirdly, there’s the year-end bonus, which is determined by the department head based on your performance and overall impression. This portion accounts for 20 percent. I would like to ask what the situation is like in other design firms, what are the differences, and do you think this distribution is reasonable? Reasonable replies will definitely earn points!
In our company, the basic salary accounts for only a small portion; master’s degree holders receive an additional 50 per month compared to those with a bachelor’s degree. There is also a bonus at the end of February, which varies greatly from department to department depending on performance. But there is little difference among people in the same position within the same department. Quarterly bonus: Several thousand yuan per quarter, depending on performance. 4. Year-end bonus: This is quite substantial, with a much larger difference. Some get hundreds of thousands, while others get tens of thousands.
Monthly salary: Basic wage + various allowances (housing allowance, meal allowance, transportation allowance) + bonuses. There are no quarterly bonuses or semi-annual bonuses; the year-end bonus accounts for 1/3 of the annual income
I’m a newcomer; I only know that the basic salary is 2,500, with an additional 1,000 in deductions. I also know that there’s a shopping card worth around 10,000 per year, as well as quarterly bonuses and year-end bonuses. I’m not sure if there are any other bonuses or benefits
There are no specific nodes to speak of, as one project follows another; as a result, it’s not clear which project the bonuses are for. Moreover, our department also receives bonuses, and they’re not small at all. Damn, this is what a state-owned enterprise is like!
The functional departments in state-owned enterprises act like old men; they use computers that are even better than those used by us tech professionals – big widescreen monitors, damn it, used for showing movies to them
The functional departments in our company all have back-office support; they’re all under the protection of managers – either relatives of those managers or their grandchildren. There’s no need to work overtime, and the salary is high. Moreover, new employees are hired every year, while only a few people are recruited for our technical department, as all the positions are taken by the functional departments.
Different design institutes vary; some offer only an annual bonus, some only quarterly bonuses, and some provide bonuses on a monthly basis
Reply to 7# Wuluo: Ha, man, that’s really funny. But there’s nothing you can do about it
Sigh, there’s no chance for success anymore. I’m just feeling sad about it; sorry for sharing this
The quarterly bonus for the first year is 4,000 – which seems like not much. The salary is 2,000 as well, which is very little; I still haven’t received any year-end bonus yet
