I just bought a split vortex flowmeter DN50 to measure steam, and now I’m going to install it, but I don’t know how to give it a metering range.
Buying a flow meter is the same as buying vegetables at the grocery store. Do you just buy it when you see it? Before purchasing, you need to report the process parameters to the manufacturer for calculation and selection. ; The manufacturer must undergo debugging and calibration before leaving the factory. ; Of course, if you are more comprehensive, you can directly report the model number to the manufacturer and purchase it. ; But before that, it should be very clear that the process conditions need to be measured, including of course the measurement range. ; Now that the flow meter has arrived, the parameters have not been set yet? Then follow the above steps again to understand the working conditions and set the measuring range.
I don’t know which brand of Vortex Street you chose. . There is usually no need to adjust the vortex steam measurement range, as it is introduced in the manual.
Is Yokogawa's BT200 communication
DY050 is Yokogawa's vortex flowmeter model, while BT200 is Yokogawa's BRAIN protocol handheld communicator. The two are not the same product at all. When ordering a Yokogawa vortex flowmeter from regular channels, you must have a calculation sheet. The calculation sheet is calculated based on the conditions given by the user or the designed instrument specification sheet, including the properties of the medium and process operating conditions. Regarding the flowmeter, there is a measuring range, measurable upper and lower limits, calculated pressure loss, several calibers that may be selected, what kind of diameter reduction and whether it is multi-parameter measurement. If you just buy a vortex flowmeter randomly without these reference data, it is just a good iron pipe that may have a digital display function, and other functions may not work well.
Yokogawa's vortex street generally does not need to adjust the range after leaving the factory.; Adjustments are introduced on page 47 of the manual.
You should first check the flow curve in the instruction manual and determine the measuring range based on the pipe diameter and flow rate.
If the technical parameters are provided, there is no need to bother and set them directly. 375 directly sets the pipe diameter, flow coefficient, medium density, operating pressure and temperature, and control range.
Reply to 1# Qingshan still does not need to set a specific measuring range. See how much the actual flow rate of the process exceeds it. Furthermore, there is a maximum flow range in the 50 diameter pipe specification. Do not exceed this value.; Just set the range in the DCS to be the same as that of the flow meter.
