Does anyone know the structure of the double-disc valve and its performance in slag lock hoppers?
Disk valves are suitable for use with powdery materials; in my opinion, their use in hoppers for slag presents difficulties in terms of operability
As far as I know, disc valves are well used in Yunzhanhua, but there are no cases of their use in the slag water system.
Double-disc valves have also been successfully applied in the slag-water system, and this is in Shell plants.
The double-disc valve has been in use as a hopper discharge valve in Zhanhua, Yunnan for 13 months now, and it is still being used. Previously, imported ball valves only lasted 5 months; it seems that double-disc valves are indeed the better choice for such operating conditions!
Yunnan Zhanhua uses double-disc valves from Suzhou Antway.
Only Antway Valve Company is capable of producing double-disc valves
