What type of insulation material is generally used for pipeline insulation? What type of insulation material is generally used for pipeline insulation? Can heat retention and heat insulation be applied interchangeably in terms of insulation materials? I would like to know whether it is possible to use the same type of insulation material for a steam pipe with a diameter of DN100 at 200 degrees Celsius and a liquefied gas pipe with a diameter of DN100 at -20 degrees Celsius.
