Many of you here are researchers; I would like to share with you the methods and approaches I know for searching for foreign-language literature, in an effort to provide some useful insights. The Energy Information Administration’s Bridge site allows access to some of its research reports: http://www.osti.gov/bridge/. The Fuel Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society provides access to reports from before 2004: http://www.anl.gov/PCS/acsfuel/. The IEA Coal Centre can be found at http://www.iea-coal.org.uk/site/ieacoal/home. The Japanese Science and Technology Agency offers access to full texts of some documents: http://www.jst.go.jp/EN/index.html. For important journals in the field of coal chemistry, try titles such as Fuel, Fuel Processing Technology, etc., available at http://www.sciencedirect.com/. Other relevant journals include Energy & Fuels, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, etc., available at http://pubs.acs.org/.
