N------Normal steam inlet parameters; the maximum value is 10 Mp(a). 510 degrees——Condensing steam turbine. 40----The value for the front section refers to the inner radius of the steam inlet portion of the outer cylinder, expressed in cm; the inner radius of this steam inlet portion is 400 mm. 36----The value for the rear exhaust section indicates the nominal root diameter of the rotor’s last stage, also expressed in cm; it also represents the specification code for the exhaust cylinder. The root diameter of the rotor’s last stage is φ360 mm. S-----Indicates that this turbine is a specially designed variant of the NK40/36 series.
Could you explain how turbine models are designated? Our refinery model is NK32/36/0
Same principle: N: Normal steam inlet parameters, with a maximum of 10.0 Mpa(a) and 510°C; H: High steam inlet parameters, with a maximum of 14.0 Mpa(a) and 540°C; K: Condensing turbine; G: Back-pressure turbine; E: Extraction turbine. 32——The value for the front section refers to the inner radius of the steam inlet portion of the outer cylinder, measured in cm; the inner radius of this portion is 320 mm. 36——The value for the exhaust section at the back represents the nominal root diameter of the rotor’s last stage, also measured in cm; it is also the specification number for the exhaust cylinder. The root diameter of the rotor’s last stage is φ360 mm. 0——No extended section in the outer cylinder
